Earl Torno

For more than 30 years, Earl Torno has created, directed and edited music for award-winning television series, commercials and recording artists. His work spans children's animation, lifestyle programming, competition series and advertising, with credits including PJ Masks, Odd Squad, Blown Away, Builder Brothers Dream Factory and the Kenny Rogers recording of "Catchin' Grasshoppers."

Earl began his career recording and producing artists such as Platinum Blonde, Rik Emmett, Honeymoon Suite, The Guess Who, Liona Boyd, Glass Tiger, the Nylons and David Wilcox.

As a songwriter, Earl has co-written songs recorded by legendary Kenny Rogers, Canadian Idol finalist Billy Klippert and Juno Award winner Carlos Morgan. His music has also been licensed for television and film productions including Degrassi: The Next Generation, PJ Masks, Instant Star, Small Town Saturday Night starring Chris Pine and Too Late To Say Goodbye starring Rob Lowe.

Over the past two decades, Earl has served as Music Director, Music Editor and/or Composer on numerous animated and live-action television series, including Odd Squad, PJ Masks, Blown Away, Builder Brothers Dream Factory, Total Dramarama, Race Against the Tide, All-Round Champion, Bookaboo, Grojband, and many others.
